Who dosen't love a nice creamy and sweet dessert after a meal or in the morning with breakfast. Creme Brulle is originally from France it's made with egg , cream and sugar , Sounds blunt right but no it tastes wonderful the texture and the caramelized sugar on top. It melts in your mouth if made the right way. So we will be making Creme Brulee toast today.
Creme Brulee is also known as Burned cream or trinity Cream i don't know why but it tastes wonderful so i love it. Today we will make the Creme Brulee on toast with The special Thai chili pepper honey on top, with a crispy and sweet caramelized sugar layer, This is a gret dessert to start the morning or have after a nice meal.
In a pot take 2 cup heavy cream,1 tsp vanilla extract , 1/3 cup sugar.Heat it on low heat till the sugar melts,DON'T BRING IT TO BOIL.heat it enough so that the sugar melts and not hot enough that you can put your finger in it for at least 3 seconds. In a bowl take 5 egg yolks and add the heavy cream mix in small portions slowly and mix well.
Transfer the mix into ramekin bowls, place the bowls on a baking tray filled with water, just enough that it reaches half the ramekin bowl. Place the tray with bowl in oven for 45 minutes at 325 degree. When its ready it will be firm when you jiggle it, That's your Creme brulee
Let the Creme brulee cool at room temperature and put it in fridge for 3-4 hour.
Bread is best when toasted, toast your bread add the Cooled Creme brulee on top of it, In another pan heat 2 tbsp sugar ,1 tbsp water cook until it's amber color( caramelized).
Pour some caramelized sugar on the Creme brulee with toast and enjoy.
