Tandoori Fried Turkey
Tandoori chicken is a South Asian dish of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices and roasted in a tandoor, a cylindrical clay oven. The dish is now popular world-wide. So thanksgiving is near let's make a Tandoori Fried Chicken !!

Thanksgiving special turkey made even better with the tandoori flavor. And we will deep fry it for the extra crispy layer. It's gonna be lit spicy and flavorful turkey. Just perfect so let's make it !!

Ingredients
Whole Turkey
Butter
Kashmiri Chili powder
Garlic
2 tbsp Onion powder
2 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp ginger
2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp turmeric
3 tbsp hot paprika
2 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt
1 cup Oil
Thai chili pepper
Directions
Mix the following seasoning mix in a bowl -
2 tbsp Onion powder, 2 tbsp Garlic powder, 1 tbsp ginger, 2 tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp turmeric, 3 tbsp hot paprika, 2 tsp cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp Salt, 1 cup Oil. Mix everything together.First lift up the skin of the turkey then Massage the turkey with the seasoning mix from outside and inside, under the skin too. Once the turkey is coated with the seasoning mix let it sit for a while.
Heat your oil in a large pot (large enough to hold the turkey) at 350 F, Put the turkey in it and let cook ( cooking time is 3.5 minutes per pound).
NOTE - fry the turkey outdoors in open space to avoid accidents.
In another pot heat 2 sticks of butter on low heat with ½ cup garlic and 2 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder and finally our favorite Thai chili pepper. Cook until the garlic is toasted.
Brush the fried Turkey with the spicy butter and enjoy !!
