Rigatoni is a form of tube-shaped pasta of varying lengths and diameters originating in Italy. They are larger than penne and ziti, and sometimes slightly curved. If so, they are not as curved as an elbow. So let's use them and make a nice and savory dish that is Butter Shrimp Rigatoni !!
Creamy and spicy recipes are our favorite but today we are trying something new. What if we have some chewy pasta with our favorite seafood the shrimps!! Let's make the best creamy and spicy, savory Butter Shrimp Rigatoni. So let's get started!!
Take your Shrimps and clean their insides, Season them with 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp hot paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1 tsp salt. Mix well.
In a pot take water and some salt, boil your rigatoni pasta.
On medium low heat take 3 tbsp olive oil and, 4 tbsp butter. Cook the shrimps for 4 minutes on both sides. Once cooked take out the shrimps and in the same pan, add in 2 tbsp shallots, 2 tbsp chopped garlic, and toast them. Once toasted add in 3 tbsp tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes.
After the tomato paste is cooked add in 1 cup heavy cream, let it simmer for 5 minutes, and adjust with salt. then add in Korean chili flakes(as per your heat preference) and our favorite Thai chili pepper, Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Once the sauce is done add in the pasta with some pasta water and the cooked shrimps, Mix well and Enjoy!!
