Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning. It is a thick paste produced by fermenting soybeans with salt andkōji (the fungusAspergillus oryzae) and sometimes rice,barley,seaweed, or other ingredients. It is used for sauces and spreads, pickling vegetables, fish, or meats. So today we have some fresh mushrooms with us so let's make Creamy Miso Mushroom
Creamy and spicy gravy great for dinner. This recipe is great for dinner night. Simple to make and tastes amazing thing will make your mouth water, The creaminess the spicy chili and the chewy mushrooms are just amazing. So let's get started!!
In a pan heat 3 tbsp butter, add in 1 chopped shallots, cook until they are translucent. Then add in the mushrooms, once the mushrooms are cooked halfway add in more butter approx 1 -2 tbsp. Then add in half blob finely chopped garlic (adjust garlic as per your liking) and cook until the garlic is toasted.
Once the garlic is toasted, add in 2 tbsp Miso paste cook for 30 - 40 Seconds and add, 1 cup broth, ½ cup heavy cream and our favorite Thai chili pepper. Let it simmer for 5- 8 minutes and enjoy !!
