Green tomatoes are tangy and juicy have you ever tried some fried tomatoes, if not let's make them today. Its sweet tangy and crispy.
Fried green tomatoes
Green tomatoes,they are great for salads but what if we make something more tasty and delicious out of them, let's fry them and make some tangy sweet fried green tomatoes. Its a great snack when its raining outside and you want something hot to eat.
2 Big Green tomatoes
1 cup chick pea flour
1/2 cup rice flour
1/3 cup corn starch
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Hot paprika
1 tsp Chili powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp Coriander powder
Thai chili pepper
Cut the green tomatoes into thin slices.
In a bowl add - 1 cup chick pea flour, 1/2 cup rice flour, 1/3 cup corn starch and the seasoning mix - 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Onion powder, 1 tsp Hot paprika, 1 tsp Chili powder, 1/4 tsp Garam masala, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp Coriander powder, finely chopped Thai chili pepper mix everything well and add sparkling water to it until it makes a thick consistent batter.
Dip the green tomatoes in the batter and deep fry in hot oil at 375 degree until its golden brown.
After the tomatoes are fried season with your favorite seasoning and enjoy.
Serve hot and enjoy the crispy tangy and sweet green tomatoes.
