We all love fritters and fries so lets make some Tomato fritters today.Tomato alone dosen't look and taste that good so why not make fritters out of it kids will love the to and they will start eating veggies. They are crispy tangy and spicy. They are easy to make snack,Great for parties and binge. Lets get cooking.
2 Heirloom tomatoes
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp hot paprika
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup sparkling water
- canola oil
- sriracha sauce
- Thai chili peppers
- deep pan
- spider strainer
Slice your tomato into 1/4 inch pieces.
Add the items below to a bowl and mix together to form a batter - 1 cup chickpea flour, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp hot paprika, 1/2 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/4 cup sparkling water.
Dip each of your tomatoes into the batter, covering fully. In a deep pan.
Fry at 350° F with enough canola oil to fully submerge each tomato, Once golden brown on each side, remove from the oil using a spider strainer.
Serve with sriracha and of course garnish with finely chopped Thai chili pepper. And your tasty fried tomato fritters are ready to eat. Enjoy the crispiness and tanginess of tomatoes with the spiciness of Thai chili pepper.
