Hot Honey Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1 cup potato starch
- ⅓ cup corn meal
- ⅓ rice flour
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 whole beaten eggs
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp honey
- 8 oz hot sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Thai chili pepper
Directions
Coat the shrimp in the dry batter first - 1 lb shrimp, 1 cup potato starch, ⅓ cup corn meal, ⅓ rice flour, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder
Then coat in the egg batter - 2 whole beaten eggs. Then put back in the dry batter and coat it really well.
Fry at 375 F for about 3-4 mins and then take it out and let it rest for 5 mins and then fry again for about 3-4 mins.
To make the sauce, melt butter, add in hot sauce, honey and bring to simmer and let it simmer for about 2 mins then turn off the heat and add sesame oil and Thai chili pepper - 4 tbsp butter, 4 tbsp honey, 8 oz hot sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, Thai chili pepper.
Coat the fried shrimp in the sauce Enjoy!
