Hello chili pepper army, Today we have a professional boxer with us who loves spicy chicken which hit hard like his punches. And guess what he's from Maryland too. Let's make some Crispy Oldbay fried chicken.
We all know fried chicken tastes great when it's spicy and crispy. So i got you all covered for this, This Old bay fried chicken is spicy and crispy as it looks. Just hear the crunch when you take a bite from it. Let's get started!!
In a bowl take 1 pound Chicken wings and add 1 cup Buttermilk along with ½ cup pickle juice and we can’t forget our Thai chili pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 25 minutes.
Make the dry mix - 1 cup Potato starch, ⅓ cup rice flour, ⅓ corn meal, 2 tbsp Old bay seasoning. Mix everything well and coat the marinated chicken in the dry mix from all sides.
Deep fry the chicken wings at 325 F, until golden brown, Let it sit to drip out excess oil and fry it again for the extra crispiness!! Once done season it with Old bay seasoning ( the key here is to season it while it’s still hot ). And enjoy!!
