A wonton is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine. common filling is ground pork and shrimp with a small amount of flour added as a binder. But today we will be making Wontons out of Oreo they are sweet and crispy.
Oreo is everyone's favorite cookie, we enjoy it with milk or direct and it tastes amazing. But have you tried Oreo wontons ? If not lets's make them today they are crispy sweet and a hint of spiciness from Thai chili pepper honey just 4 ingredients and you're good to go.. They are simple to make so lets begin!!
Thai chili pepper honey
Take 10 Oreo cookies and remove the cream into a separate bowl and the cookie into another.
Add 8 ounces of Cream cheese (make sure the cheese is set at room temperature for at least 1 hour) to the Oreo cream , 2 Tbsp heavy cream, 3 tbsp Thai chili honey( you can use regular honey too) and mix well.
Add crushed Oreo cookies to the cream mix, put spoonful of filing into the wonton wrapper, Dab the sides of the wrapper with water and fold by bringing the corners together.
Deep fry the wontons at 350 F until golden brown.
Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!!
