Smoked Tandoori Chicken
Smoked paprika is made with pimiento peppers that are sun-dried and smoked over the fire before being crushed into powdered form. And this seasoning and masala is used in our today's Tandoori chicken so lets' get started!!

The fruit of patience is always sweet, This phrase is well known but what if I say the fruit of patience is savory and delicious too. Today let's make a Smoked Tandoori Chicken the best dinner recipe or BBQ dish you can make, but it's only for people with patience!!

Ingredients
Whole chicken
Ginger garlic paste
Butter
Garlic
1 cup yogurt
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp hot paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp Garam masala
Salt
Thai chili pepper
Tin box
Cling wrap

Directions
Take your whole chicken and stash cut it, remove the backbone and press down the chicken flat.
In a bowl take 1 cup yogurt and the seasoning mix - 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp cumin, 2 tsp coriander, 1 tsp turmeric, 2 tbsp hot paprika, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp Garam masala, Salt to taste. mix well( add the seasoning slowly and mix so there are no clumps) and apply on the chicken inside out rub it well inside the skin too!!
Take a tin box place the chicken in the box and cover it with cling wrap and keep in the refrigerator, let the chicken marinate for atleast 3 days for the flavor to seep in the chicken.
After the chicken is marinated, take it out and cook in a grill or smoker at 250 C slowly until the internal temperature is 165 C.
Take 1 stick of butter with 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp hot paprika, ½ tsp cayenne pepper and salt to taste. and 1 tbsp minced garlic with our favorite Thai chili pepper, place the pot in the grill/smoker until the butter melts. Baste the chicken with the chili pepper butter and enjoy!!
