Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles
Who doesn't love some spicy and flavorful chewy noodles. And why should we buy such noodles from a restaurant when you can make one at home that too easily. Today I have a great dish for you all, Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles the best spicy, flavourful and aromatic noodles. So let's get started.
1 pound Ground lamb
1 Bay leaves
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Inch Cinnamon stick
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp hot paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp cup soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp Korean chili flakes
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
Thai chili pepper
In a pan take some oil and toast the following aromatics - 1 Bay leaf, 1 tsp Cumin seeds, and 1 Inch Cinnamon stick. Then add in chopped onion and stem of green onion and cook until translucent.
Once the onions are translucent add in 1 pound Ground lamb and the seasoning mix - 2 tsp cumin, 1 coriander, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp hot paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 3/4 tsp salt. Add in 1-2 tbsp garlic (add as much as you like), ½ tbsp ginger. Saute until the lamb is completely cooked.
Boil any rice noodles of your choice and add them into the lamb mix.
Making the sauce, take - 2 tbsp cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar 1 tbsp water, 1 tbsp Korean chili flakes, 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce. Mix all of these in a bowl and add it in the lamb mix.
Mix everything together and we can't forget about our favourite chopped Thai chili pepper. Enjoy the spicy noodles.
Garnish with chopped stem of green onion and enjoy !!!
