Macaroni and cheese is a dish of cooked macaroni pasta and a cheese sauce, most commonly Cheddar sauce. The traditional macaroni and cheese is a casserole baked in the oven; however, it may be prepared in a sauce pan on top of the stove or using a packaged mix. But today we have some crab meat with us and as we all know tandoori is our favorite so let's make Tandoori Crab Mac And Cheese.
Heya so, we have some crab meat with us today and I am craving something cheesy and savory. So i have an idea let's make Tandoori Crab Mac And Cheese. It will be a mix of everything savory Tandoori, cheesy mac and our favorite seafood, crabs. The perfect all rounder dish, SO let's get started!!!
In a pan on medium low heat, take 1 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp butter add 4 tbsp tandoori spice and 2 tbsp tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes then add 1 lbs crab meat, and 1 cup heavy cream, let the crabs cook and, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Grate all the cheese using a grater 16 oz cheddar cheese, 8 oz gruyere cheese, 8 oz gouda cheese. Separate 2/3 of all the cheese(5.3 oz from 8 oz and 10.6 oz from 16 oz).
In a pot boil your pasta until el dente (75%-80% cooked).
In another pan take 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp all purpose flour and 1 tbsp tandoori spice, cook for a few seconds then add 1 cup milk. Add in 2/3 of all the grated cheese, and cook until it melts. Turn off the heat. Then add in the crab meat and the cooked pasta.
Top up with the rest of the remaining cheese and bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes, Garnish with Thai chili pepper and cilantro enjoy!!!
