Pad see ew is a stir-fried noodle dish that is commonly eaten in Thailand. It can be found easily among street food vendors and is also quite popular in Thai restaurants around the world. The origins of the dish can be traced to China from where the noodle stir-frying technique was brought.
Simple and savory Pad see ew, the name is long but the recipe is short and simple. The sauce is all what makes this recipe soo unique. the spices and the turkey sausage is an addition to make this dish soo delicious, so let's get started!!
Take onion as needed(1 cup) slice them, take your sausage and cut them into pieces. Take some oil in a pan and cook the onions for 1 minutes and add in minced garlic ( as per your choice) I love to add a lot! Cook until the garlic is toasted.
Then add in turkey sausage and 2 eggs, cook until the eggs are done.
Making the sauce - take 1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp rice vinegar, 2 tsp fish sauce, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar. mix well
Then add in the pad see ew noodles( 80% cooked) and the sauce mix we made. add some Korean chili flakes and cook for 5-6 minutes. Taste and adjust with salt. Garnish with Thai chili pepper an enjoy!!
